Forward Tommy Swanson has been revealed as the latest signing for Rob Paternostro's Leicester Riders. The 24-year-old former player development assistant with the San Antonio Spurs played four years at Baylor University in Alabama. Paternostro told the club website: "I was looking for a guy to do a variety of things and Tommy Swanson is that the type of player. Speaking from his scouting trip in the US, Paternostro said the Riders were taking shape for the start of the season on 27 September. "I'm excited about the way things are shaping up and really looking forward to getting our pre-season under way. "It has been challenging coming in and building a new team, but I'm looking forward to working with the guys we are bringing in."
