Sheffield Sharks chairman Yuri Matishen says he is confident the club will make several high-profile signings in time for the new season.

New Sharks head coach Atiba Lyons is currently on a recruitment trip in his native America.

Matischen told BBC Radio Sheffield: "We're pretty confident that we'll add one or two Great Britain internationals to the squad.

"We'll also bring in two or three top-class Americans," he added.
