Beasley hopes other teams will start to respect the Raiders |
Plymouth Raiders forward DeAntoine Beasley hopes other teams in the league will start to respect their quality after they reached the BBL finals. Plymouth have enjoyed their best-ever season, finishing third in the league and making their first finals weekend. "Since we left the EBL our main objective was to be respected in this league as one of the top competitors," Beasley told BBC Radio Devon. The club won its first BBL silverware last year when it took the BBL Trophy. "A lot of people thought that was a fluke so we wanted to come out and show people it wasn't and we wanted to remain in the top four all season," added the 28-year-old American.
