Coventry Jets will put hopefuls through their paces at their annual rookies day on Sunday, 31 January.
The trials at the Alan Higgs Centre will kick off the club's preparations for the new season.
Jets general manager and former head coach Gerry McManus has highlighted the importance of bringing on new talent.
"It seems ridiculous to say having made the final last season but we were in the midst of a rebuilding process," McManus said.
"That continues this year as we're still looking to replace a lot of the guys that retired after winning Britbowl XXII [in 2008].
"We picked up a lot of good youngsters out of college in 2009 but we still ran with probably the smallest squad in the Premier last year."
