Gavin Boak is the only Division Two player to make Lions squad

Cornish Sharks are celebrating a Great Britain Lions call up for their defensive tackle Gavin Boak.

The 25-year-old was selected after coming through the national trials in Loughborough last week to the joy of the entire Sharks squad.

"They are all as proud as I am and it has given us a huge boost for the start of the season," said Sharks head coach Brian Smallworth.

Boak is the only player from the BAFL's second division to be make the squad.
