Ipswich Women have been relegated from the EHL Premier Division, following a poor showing in the three-match round-robin play-offs. A 3-0 defeat by Birmingham sealed the fate of the injury-plagued team after an earlier 2-2 draw with Durham and a 4-0 defeat by Reading. The Suffolk side now drop down to the Conference on goal difference. It is the first time that Ipswich have been out of the top flight for nearly 20 years.
