Guernsey men's hockey team are getting ready to try and win a place in the semi-finals of the National Trophy. The island side host Worthing at Footes Lane at 1300 GMT on Sunday in their quarter-final match. "It's a chance to show where we are in the world of hockey," coach Ben Allberry told BBC Guernsey. "We've got to this stage several times before and not got further, so it'll be nice to go that one stage further and show how far we've come." Allberry added: "Apart from the inter-insular we don't really have the opportunity to play against other teams so it's our yardstick to prove where we are. "I believe we can go on to win the competition. We've got the squad capable of doing that and competition for places is fierce."
