Ipswich Hockey women will be without captain Vic Sandall and vice-captain Mille Sharp for this Sunday's trip to league leaders Bowdon Hightown.

However, the Suffolk side will welcome back South African goalkeeper Mariette Rix to the squad.

"I know we can spring a few surprises," stand-in captain Kirsten Spencer told the club website.

Ipswich are looking to climb out of the English Hockey League Premier Division relegation play-off spot.
