Rhodes hit the first hat-trick of his career for Brentford at Shrewsbury
Brentford have extended the loan of Ipswich striker Jordan Rhodes until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old, who originally joined the Bees on a one-month deal in January, will now remain at Griffin Park until 25 April.
Rhodes has scored five goals in seven appearances for Brentford.
Ipswich agreed to let him stay with the League Two side on the understanding that they can take him back to Portman Road at 24-hours notice if required.
Manager Andy Scott told BBC London 94.9: "Jordan is a great kid and is going to get better and better. He's destined for bigger and better things."
Rhodes scored over 50 goals in youth, reserve and first-team fixtures for Ipswich last season, and has also spent time on loan at Oxford United and Rochdale.
Meanwhile, Bees striker Moses Ademola has joined Blue Square South side Welling United on loan until 18 April.
The deal also includes a 24-hour recall clause for the 19-year-old, which kicks in after 28 days.
