Guernsey have cruised through to the last 16 in the English Hockey Association Trophy after beating Cirencester 6-2.

Guernsey have been drawn away to Reading-based Sonning Hockey Club in the fourth round, set for February.

Sonning are third in the Middlesex, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Hockey league.

"I believe we can go all the way. when we are playing our best there is no reason for us to fear any team," coach Ben Allberry told BBC Guernsey.

"We'll take one game at a time, do our homework, which being away from the mainland will be tricky, plan our trip and keep training."

Guernsey could face old rivals Jersey in the quarter-finals. The Caesareans are also through to he last 16 and host Bexleyheath and Belvedere.
