Ipswich aim to move out of danger

Hockey

Ipswich ladies face their biggest match of the season in the England Hockey League (EHL) on Sunday.

They are heading to Manchester to take on Poynton, who are two points above them in the Premier Division table.

Victory would give Ipswich only their second win of the campaign and move them out of the relegation zone.

Ipswich manager Donna Mills said: "We can't afford to give away easy goals, it will be a close game and we need to be switched on throughout."

Ipswich men are at home to Holcombe on Saturday in EHL Conference East.

They will be without Josh Godfrey, Mickey Franklin and Jonny Gall, who are all away at England training camps.
