Northern Ireland's Jenna McCorkell finished in 16th place |
Teenage ice skater Jenna McCorkell finished 16th in the European Championships in Turin. The three-times British champion was lying 17th after Friday's short programme and moved up one place after Saturday's free session.
The Coleraine girl had finished 14th in last year's Europeans but some errors in Saturday's programme prevented her from matching or bettering that result.
Irina Slutskaya of Russia won the European title for the sixth time.
