Kellogg doubtful over 2012 games

Kellogg won the European Championships mixed doubles title

Derby's three-time Olympian Donna Kellogg has all but ruled herself out of competing at the London 2012 games.

The 31-year-old from Spondon lost in the first round of the women's and mixed doubles events in Beijing.

And the badminton player told BBC Radio Derby: "I've probably been living out of a suitcase for the past 12 years.

"I've not had chance to really lead a settled life and spend time with my family, I think another four years of that might be quite difficult."

Kellogg added: "Also from a mental point of view it can be quite tiring getting up every morning and doing the same thing.

"I just think I might be ready for a change."
