Robinson will run beyond Beijing

Marathon runner Dan Robinson says he has no plans to quit the sport after competing in the Beijing Olympics.

Robinson, 33, told BBC Radio Gloucestershire that the end of his career is not in sight.

"You never know when you're going to start slowing down but, while I'm still improving, it would be silly to stop," said the Nailsworth-based athlete.

"The last four years I haven't done many city marathons, so that might become a priority."
