Garland missed the GB trials in Birmingham |
Guernsey's Dale Garland says he pulled out of his favoured 400m hurdles before Thursday's meeting in Loughborough to focus on making the 4x400m relay squad. It is his last hope of making the Olympics after he missed the Great Britain trials last weekend due to a slight hamstring tear. Garland hopes to add his name to the five already earmarked for Great Britain's 400m relay squad for Beijing. But the 27-year-old will have to run his faster ever time to impress.
