East Lindsey District Council is to bring a programme of sporting events to the county to reflect and celebrate the London 2012 Olympics. The award has been made by the Lincolnshire Sports Partnership and is based on other successful projects run by the Council. As a result they will now have the opportunity to appoint a funded Olympic Project Officer. The programme will focus on sporting achievements across the community.
