Zoe Gillings misses out on US Snowboard Cross final

Ride the Telluride Snowboarder X course with British number one Zoe Gillings
Isle of Man snowboarder Zoe Gillings missed out on the finals in the second round of the Snowboard Cross World Cup by half a second in Telluride, USA.
Gillings was 14th fastest in her first qualifying run but despite a quicker second run she slipped to 18th overall.
Gillings said: "I'm really disappointed with the result, even though I am treating each World Cup as preparation for the Olympics.
"I thought I'd done enough to qualify. It shows how tight the competition is."
The British number one, who finished 10th in the opening round in Argentina, will now focus her attentions on the third round, which takes place in Badgastein, Austria on 8 January 2010.
The Winter Olympics take place in Vancouver, Canada, from 12-28 February 2010.
