Ballinderry claimed a second The Elk Derry SFC victory from two games when they eased past Swatragh 1-18 to 1-6 in Saturday's Ballinascreen double-header.

In the other match Castledawson and Lavey played out a 1-11 to 1-11 draw.

A Paddy Bradley goal helped Glenullin to a 3-15 to 0-6 win over Glen at Swatragh while at Dungiven there were victories for Bellaghy and Slaughtneil.

Bellaghy cruised to a 1-17 to 0-8 win over Kilrea while Slaughtneil defeated Craigbane 0-15 to 0-2.

Brian McCuckin netted for Ballinderry while Ruairi Convery scored Swatragh's goal.

Lavey substitute Caolain O'Boyle's earned his side a draw with a goal and an equalising point in injury-time - Niall McNicholl had earlier scored Castledawson's goal.

Paddy Bradley's brother Eoin and Niall O'Kane were also on target in Glenullin's victory.

Bellaghy were always in control against Kilrea with Fergal Doherty dominant in midfield and Gareth Doherty grabbed the game's only goal.

Paul Bradley and Jim Kelly each notched up six points as Slaughtneil crushed Craigbane.

On Friday evening Dungiven beat Magherafelt 2-18 to 1-7 while Banagher drew with Ballinascreen 1-10 apiece.

Fergal McGuigan hit 1-7 for Dungiven while Paul Murphy (0-5) and Ryan Kealey (1-1) were also among the scorers with Frank Niblock netting for Magherafelt.

Gregory Biggs' goal helped Banagher lead 1-4 to 0-6 at half-time at Glen.

Eamon Murray's goal brought the sides level but 'Screen needed an injury-time Seamus Bradley point to earn the draw.

Mark Lynch (0-3) and Paul Cartin (0-2) were among the Banagher scorers while Seamus Bradley top-scored with 0-5 for Ballinascreen.

The result leaves Dungiven on maximum points from their two opening games while Magherafelt have lost their first two matches.

Banagher and Ballinascreen had both claimed wins in their opening matches last month.

Loup hammered Coleraine 3-14 to 0-9 on Thursday night at Greenlough in this week's opening Elk Derry SFC game.

Loup scored six points inside the first 10 minutes before Sean Mikey O'Neill netted in the 15th minute.

Paul Young's goal five minutes later helped Loup to a 2-10 to 0-5 half-time lead and Young added a third 10 minutes into the second half.
