PJ O'Hare guided the Saffrons to a Championship win over Cavan |
Former Tyrone midfielder Jody Gormley has become the Antrim football trainer.
The Trillick-man links up with Saffron boss PJ O'Hare after the departure of Tom Murphy who stepped down because of work commitments.
Gormley won Ulster Championship medals with Tyrone in 1995 and '96 but he quit intercounty football last year.
He obtained a degree in sport and leisure studies at Jordanstown and is regarded as one of the most up-and-coming coaches in Ulster.
Gormley is a teacher at St Patrick's in Lisburn and he expressed an interest in the Antrim role and holding discussions with county chairman Joe O'Boyle, who previously worked at the school.
