Armagh are hopeful that Oisin McConville will be fit for Saturday's All-Ireland Qualifier against Dublin at Croke Park.
The Crossmaglen player's hamstring problem had threatened to keep him the sidelines but on Friday morning it was reported manager Joe Kernan expected him to be available.
McConville has been troubled by the problem for a number of months and further strained the injury in Armagh's last outing against Antrim.
Ronan Clarke, who was left out of the starting line-up announced on Tuesday, is on standby if McConville is ruled out of the Armagh attack.
Clarke has also been suffering from a groin niggle but he should be fit to start on Saturday if required.
Dublin midfielder Darren Homan is rated as a major doubt for the Dubs with Darren Magee expected to come into the team which will be announced on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Donegal have made two changes for Saturday's Croke Park curtain-raiser.
Both changes come in the attack with fit-again Brendan Devenney and Johnny McCafferty preferred to Colm McFadden and Christy Toye.
Devenney has been out of action since picking up a knee injury in Donegal's Ulster Championship defeat by Fermanagh.

Since then Donegal have regrouped to defeat Longford and Sligo in the qualifiers.
Tipperary have made two changes as well as leaving a vacancy at right half-back.
Liam Cronin comes in for Damien Byrne while Damien O'Brien replaces Tony Doyle at right corner forward.
The GAA have announced that Hill 16 tickets for Saturday's qualifier double-header in Croke Park are now available.
Meanwhile, Fermanagh star Raymond Gallagher, says victory against Meath in the National League means nothing before Sunday's qualifier at Clones (1530BST).
Peter McGrath says he is interested in taking over at Louth |
He feels that all of his side will have to play very well to have any hope of beating Meath. ''The form guide as far as championship ties go against Meath is non-existant,'' he said. ''Certainly I have never played against them in the championship. We beat them the odd time in league alright, but that is going to have no bearing on Sunday.
''Outside the top four or five teams standards across the board are very much even.
''I feel that this is down to preparation on the training field. Most teams now prepare both mentally and physically in a way that was unheard of in previous years.''
Former Down boss Peter McGrath has indicated interest in the vacant Louth football job.
Paddy Carr quit the Louth position after the county's recent All-Ireland Qualifier defeat by Cavan.
