John Devine had to go to hospital after Sunday's game |
Tyrone goalkeeper John Devine spent two nights in hospital after sustaining a bruised kidney in Sunday's Ulster semi-final win over Antrim.
Devine picked up the injury in the incident which led to Antrim's controversial first half penalty.
He played on in the remainder of the match but after complaining of pain afterwards, he was urged to go to hospital.
Doctors kept the Errigal Ciaran player in hospital for two nights before he was released on Tuesday.
Tyrone boss Mickey Harte is now hoping that Devine will be available for the Ulster decider on 13 July.
The goalkeeper broke his collarbone in last year's All-Ireland Qualifier against Derry after an incident in the same Casement Park goalmouth.
Stephen O'Neill picked up an ankle injury in Sunday's game but Harte is optimistic that the forward will be fit for the Ulster final.
