Derry officials have expressed anger that the county's All-Ireland Football Qualifier against Dublin has been put back to Saturday week, 28 June.
The news means that Dublin will have an extra week to prepare after losing Sunday's Leinster semi-final against Laois with the game fixed for Clones.
Derry county chairman Gerard O'Kane acknowledged that he was "very unhappy" following Monday's announcement.
"Had it been the reverse situation, I've no doubt that it would have been played on Saturday," claimed O'Kane.
"I want our supporters to know that we were not consulted about the venue and time for this game.
"We tried to make our feelings known but to no avail. Everything was geared towards Dublin".
The Derry chairman said that his county would have been happy to toss for the choice of venue for the match.
We were not allowed to toss and possibly gain the advantage of playing at Celtic Park Derry chairman Gerard O'Kane |
"We have spent 300,000 on Celtic Park yet only played one championship match there in the last four years.
"We were prepared to toss for the venue whether the game should be played at Celtic Park or a venue of Dublin's choosing.
"Croke Park is not available to Dublin this weekend so we were not allowed to toss and possibly gain the advantage of playing at Celtic Park".
The beginning of the Special Olympics this weekend means that Croke Park is unavailable.
And with Monaghan and Antrim in action at Clones and Casement Park on Saturday, the GAA's options were somewhat limited.
The Derry-Dublin contest will be all-ticket.
The Gerry Arthurs stand in Clones will also be all ticket for the clash of Monaghan and Meath.
Donegal's north west derby with Sligo will take place at Ballybofey on Sunday (1415).
Cavan will meet the losers of this weekend's Ulster semi-final between Fermanagh and Down on 29 June.
The Guinness All Ireland hurling championship preliminary round qualifier game between Derry and Kerry has been fixed for Saturday in Tullamore (1500).
