Tony Gorman hopes to be fit to play at Windsor Park |
Coleraine midfielder Tony Gorman is hoping an ankle injury will not prevent him from playing against his former club Linfield in the Daily Mirror Irish League on Saturday.
Gorman picked up the injury during Tuesday's vital 2-1 win over Lisburn Distillery at Ballycastle Road.
The 32-year-old is receiving physio treatment and will have the ankle strapped up if he does make the Windsor Park clash.
Gorman has been in outstanding form this season and will not want to be on the sidelines as Marty Quinn's buoyant Bannsiders go for their sixth Premier Division win in succession.
That win over Distillery took Coleraine to within six points of second-placed Portadown on whom they have a game in hand.
Coleraine will be without defender Paul Gaston who was sent-off in that game.
Linfield are just one win away from making sure of their place in the top half of the league before the split at the end of March.
