Five in for Tyrone job
Eugene McKenna was joint boss with Art McRory
Eugene McKenna would like his old job back
Five candidates have been officially entered for the race for the vacant Tyrone manager's job.

Former joint manager Eugene McKenna, Mickey Harte and Brian McIver are joined by two unidentified runners for the role.

The county board expects to have the new man in place by the end of this month.

But first, the board will enter discussions with the two late contenders to ascertain their credentials.

Less than half of the county's 48 clubs submitted nominations to Tuesday night's board meeting.

All nominations were for individuals, rather than teams, as the county seeks to fill the void left by the sudden parture of McKenna and Art McRory.
