Ulster prepare for Railway Cup
Tyrone's talented Cormac McAnallen is expected to be in Railway Cup action for Ulster
Cormac McAnallen is in the Ulster trial squad

Manager Brian McEniff has named a 27-man panel as Ulster prepare for the Railway Cup with a trial match against All-Ireland champions Armagh on Saturday.

McEniff's plans have been hampered by Sunday's All-Ireland club championship quarter-finals in which many key players are involved.

Seven of the panel come from McEniff's own county, Donegal, and there are six from Tyrone.

As Armagh are the opposition at Carrickcruppen, they do not have any players on the Ulster panel.

But they are bound to be well represented in the final squad for the weekend tournament involving the four Irish provinces Ulster, Munster, Connacht and Leinster.

The competition will be played over the weekend of 2-3 November in Galway.

The Rest of Ulster panel to face Armagh is: Sean McGreevy, Kevin Brady (both Antrim); Anthony Forde, Dermot McCabe, Peter Reilly, Gerald Pierson (all Cavan); Paul McFlynn, Gareth Doherty, Ciaran McNally, Fergal Doherty (all Derry); Noel McGinley, Raymond Sweeney, Kevin Cassidy, John Gildea, Jim McGuinness, Michael Hegarty, Adrian Sweeney (all Donegal).

Liam Doyle (Down); Rory Gallagher (Fermanagh); Thomas Freeman, Dermot McDermott (both Monaghan); Chris Lawn, Cormac McAnallen, Conor Gormley, Ryan McMenamin, Brian Dooher, Kevin Hughes (all Tyrone).
