Big weekend of club action
Cathal O'Rourke was on the bench for Armagh's All-Ireland triumph over Kerry

Dunloy renew their intense rivalry with Lavey in Sunday's AIB Ulster Club semi-finals at Casement Park (1530 BST).

The clubs have fought out some thrilling clashes over the past decade with the Antrim club victorious on all occasions.

A couple of games are best-remembered for some unseemly incidents so hopefully good hurling rather than nastiness will be the main feature on Sunday.

Dunloy, after their very impressive Antrim final win over Cushendall, will go in as strong favourites against the Derrymen.

Many pundits fancied Cushendall to win the Saffron decider but Dunloy were comfortably the better outfit on the day.

Dunloy have a couple of injury worries for Sunday's match.

Injury-doubt: Dunloy's Alistair Elliott

Centre half-back Gary O'Kane continues to be affected by the hamstring problem which has plagued him all summer.

O'Kane, against expectation, started the Antrim decider but had to retire before half-time.

Alistair Elliott sustained a nasty hand injury while producing a superb display against Cushendall but the likelihood is that he will start at Casement.

Lavey have a couple of injury concerns of their own with Collin McGurk and Dominic Magill both rated doubtful for the game.

McGurk's brother Johnny, a 1993 All-Ireland Football medallist with Derry, is ruled out of the match after breaking his wrist in the county final win over Slaughtneil.

Interestingly another of Derry's stars of the 1993 football success, Seamus Downey, will continue to operate in goal for Lavey.

Portaferry will be strongly fancied to defeat Keady in the opening Ulster semi-final at Casement (1400).

Key forward Gerard McGrattan has recovered from a hamstring injury which inhibited him somewhat in the Down final.

Oisin McConville has been in tremendous form this year for Armagh and Crossmaglen
Oisin McConville: Crossmaglen star

Keady's best known player is Paul McCormack who was part of Armagh's All-Ireland Football winning squad this year.

With no disrespect to Keady, most south Armagh GAA interest will be focused on Sunday's Harp Lager county football final between Crossmaglen and Dromintee at Silverbridge (1500).

Cross are seeking their seventh successive Armagh title while Dromintee will be aiming to avenge last year's county final defeat.

The holders, who had seven members on Armagh's All-Ireland panel, will go in as strong favourites against a Dromintee line-up backboned by the four O'Rourke brothers.

Aidan O'Rourke, a regular for Armagh this year, could be given the key task of marking Oisin McConville.

O'Rourke's brother Cathal will surely view the match as a perfect opportunity to show Joe Kernan that he should be retained in the county squad for the defence of the All-Ireland title.

Cathal was on the bench for the All-Ireland Final and overall, saw little action with Armagh during the summer.

Dromintee have never won the Armagh title and the likelihood is that they will have to wait for at least another year to achieve their ambition.
