McGeeney re-traces his steps
Armagh skipper Kieran McGeeney on winning the All-Ireland title
Kieran McGeeney lifts aloft the Sam Maguire Cup
Kieran McGeeney re-traced his steps to glory when he collected the Vodafone Player of the Month award on Tuesday ion Dublin.

McGeeney led the victorious Armagh side up the steps at Croke Park last month when they defeated Kerry to lift the Sam Maguire Cup for the first time in their history.

McGeeney re-created that emotional walk at headquarters, this time to collect the top award along with Hurling's Philly Larkin.

McGeeney was the master-in-charge as underdogs Armagh won the All-Ireland title with an unforgettable performance.

Larkin, meanwhile, was to the fore as Kilkenny reeled off yet another All-Ireland victory against Clare last month.
