The winger nipped in for a try in either half as the Ulster side proved too powerful all-round for the Dutch international side. Ulster surged into a 27-0 half-time lead with Roger Wilson, Darren Barbour and Bowe grabbing tries and Michael Rainey adding a couple of conversions and a brace of penalties. Ulster again controlled things on the resumption with Shane Stewart, now fully recovered from knee surgery last season, on the scoresheet. The 24-year-old kiwi-born Ballymena centre has not played since injuring his knee against Stade Francais last January. Next on the scoresheet was his club mate Andy Maxwell while Bowe and then Reece Spee, Scott Young and replacement Richard McCarter also got their names on the scoresheet. Holland did score a consolation try through winger Niels Bekker and converted by fly-half James McHardy. |
