Australian rider Woodward captained the Eagles last year

Eastbourne Eagles have re-signed Joonas Kylmakorpi, Cameron Woodward and Simon Gustafsson for the 2011 Elite League speedway season.

Finnish rider Kylmakorpi won the World Long Track title last year, and all three helped the side to the final of the Knockout Cup.

Team manager Trevor Geer said: "Joonas is the key to the whole team building.

"We had such a wonderful team spirit last year and we wanted to keep the nucleus of that team."

He added: "We are very pleased with the way team building is going and hope shortly to be a position to complete the side."
