Edward Kennett ruled out of Grand Final second leg

Kennett weighed in with seven points in the first leg against Poole

Coventry Bees rider Edward Kennett is out of Monday's Elite League Grand Final decider after breaking his ankle in a fall against Wolverhampton.

Kennett sustained the injury in heat five on Thursday, as Bees were taking on Wolves in the second leg of their Knockout Cup quarter-final at Brandon.

Coventry won the meeting 48-42 but the visitors booked their place in the semi-finals 93-91 on aggregate.

Bees take a 51-39 lead to Poole Pirates for next week's title clash.
