Bridger weighed in with a paid eight last time out against Swindon |
Coventry Bees rider Lewis Bridger is confident his team can avoid returning from Poole empty handed when they take on the league leaders on Wednesday. Pirates are 11 points clear at the top of the Elite League but the Bees are unbeaten in their last five meetings. "I love the circuit down there and I've had some good meetings," Bridger told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire. "Obviously they've got an awesome team down there but hopefully we'll be close and get a least a point." Meanwhile Coventry will be without Polish duo Krzysztof Kasprzak and Przemyslaw Pawlicki when they head for Eastbourne Eagles on Thursday. Davey Watt and former Bee Stuart Robson will guest in their absence.
