Eastbourne Eagles have signed Polish rider Tomasz Jedrzejak on loan from Belle Vue Aces.

The 30-year-old comes in on an average of 5.71 and is expected to make his debut for the Eagles against Peterborough Panthers next Monday.

Eagles co-promoter Mike Bellerby said: "We understand that Tomasz is something of a small track expert.

"We remain hopeful that this is something that will become evident from the first race of his first match."

The Eagles have struggled in recent weeks, losing nine of their last 10 Elite League meetings.

"I would have to say we've certainly had a testing time of things in recent weeks," Bellerby said.

"We will continue to work as hard as we can behind the scenes to do the very best we can to help restore winning ways here at Arlington."
