Birmingham have four more slots to fill in their 2010 line-up |
Birmingham Brummies have signed Somerset Rebels youngster Justin Sedgmen for their 2010 campaign. The 17-year-old's arrival means a trio of Australians have committed to the Perry Barr club after the signings of Jason Lyons and Steve Johnston. "I watched Justin's progress closely with Somerset," said new Brummies owner Gary Patchett. "I have a good relationship with the Sedgmen family and at Swindon we looked at Justin and his brother." The Mildura-born youngster made a good impression on his Perry Barr visits with the Rebels this summer, chalking up seven points in the League and four in the Trophy. Patchett and his Elite League franchise, Swindon, sponsored Sedgmen to ride in Britain this year.
