Chris Harris won the final heat to ensure Bees picked up a point |
Coventry Bees are still hopeful of their place in the Elite League play-offs following a 45-45 draw with Eastbourne Eagles. Bees had to rely on a late rally to salvage a point from the Bank Holiday clash at Brandon. Skipper Chris Harris top-scored for the home side who are currently third in the table. Lakeside and Peterborough are four and six points behind Coventry respectively but both have a match in hand. Coventry's final meeting of the regular season is away to Eagles next Monday (7 September).
