The Brummies host Edinburgh at Perry Barr on Wednesday |
Birmingham came away from their three-night northern tour with a win, a narrow defeat and an abandonment. Friday's rain affected 38-34 loss at Edinburgh was frustrating, but the Brummies took one consolation point. They bounced back to beat Berwick 48-42 on Saturday with fit-again Polish star Tomasz Piszcz grabbing 14 points and Ludvig Lindgren two key heat wins. Lindgren was due to miss the Sunday night showdown at Glasgow, but that was rained off and will be rescheduled. Those weekend results leave the Brummies second in the Premier League, level on points with the leaders King's Lynn. Birmingham return home on Wednesday evening to host Edinburgh.
