King's Lynn Stars saw their Premier League lead cut to just four points by Saturday's 46-43 defeat at Rye House. Lynn claimed a point by keeping the final score close, thanks to Darcy Ward and Tomas Topinka giving the Stars maximum points in the final heat. But the Stars will have been concerned at an injury suffered by Kozza Smith after a crash which saw him withdrawn. Smith missed the opening weeks of the season after suffering multiple fractures to his arm and shoulder.
