Swindon returned to the top of the table after a 50-40 victory at Eastbourne to make it seven Elite League wins in a row. The Robins avenged a defeat in Sussex earlier in the season. Captain Leigh Adams top-scored with 13 points with Travis McGowan, Matej Zagar and Ryan Fisher all providing good support against the Eagles. "The score-line doesn't suggest how tough it was. We dug in and got the result," McGowan told BBC Wiltshire. The success saw Swindon claim all four points on offer and move above Wolverhampton in the standings. "That's where we want to be. We took all the points tonight so that's wonderful," said McGowan.
