Chris Harris did enough to help Bees salvage a point

Coventry Bees picked up a point from their 48-42 defeat by Ipswich Witches in the Elite League on Thursday.

The meeting was decided in the final heat with the home side ensuring there was no repeat of Bees' win at the Foxhall track earlier in the season.

But Chris Harris split the two home riders which was enough to keep the winning margin to under seven.

A waterlogged track means Coventry's fixture with leaders Wolves at Brandon on Friday (15 May) has been postponed.
