Edward Kennett could not help Bees avoid defeat by Wolves |
A depleted Coventry Bees side came away empty-handed from Monmore Green after losing 50-40 to Wolverhampton in the Elite League on Monday. Bees were without Olly Allen and Ben Barker for the meeting, both of whom have broken legs, and were still in contention with three heats left. The visitors' joint manager Peter Oakes said: "They battled very well. "We fought so hard but ended up going away with nothing which I think is a little bit cruel." Edward Kennett top-scored for Coventry with 13 points.
