Swindon want perfect home record

Gary Patchett
Patchett wants Swindon to better last season's record of two home defeats

Swindon can go through the 2009 Elite League season unbeaten at home, according to co-owner Gary Patchett.

The Robins currently sit second in the table and boast a 100% record at the Abbey Stadium.

Having beaten Belle Vue, Coventry, Peterborough and Eastbourne, Patchett told BBC Wiltshire: "I don't expect anyone to beat us here this year.

"We're plenty strong enough to put most teams to bed, even when we don't get to put our first-choice team out."

He added: "The boys are doing what we expected of them, and we now need to keep them up to the task."
