Freddie Lindgren was outstanding in Prague, only to be pipped in the final |
Wolverhampton's Swedish rider Freddie Lindgren is sure of a great reception from supporters ahead of Monday night's Elite League meeting with Eastbourne. He returns to Monmore after a stunning start to the Grand Prix season, leading all scorers in Prague. Lindgren rejoins a Wolves line-up flying high at the top of the table following Thursday's win at Poole. But Eastbourne will be stiff opponents at Monmore, led by new British under-21 champion Lewis Bridger. "We're in a good run of form but we can't afford to take our foot off the gas," said Wolves team manager Peter Adams. "I set a target of seven points from three meetings. "We've already achieved that, but we will be going for it from the start against a very good side. "They have several riders who can go well around our place." Recent injury victims Hynek Stichauer and Ty Proctor came through the trip to Poole unscathed, so both continue in the Wolves line-up.
