Travis McGowan knows Swindon have only one win in two years at Coventry |
Coventry will be hoping to get back on top of the Elite League table when they take on Swindon at Brandon on Thursday night (2000 BST). The Bees surrendered top spot when Wolves beat Poole 54-39 at Monmore on Wednesday night. But victory against the Robins, who can go top themselves with a seven-point win, would put Coventry back in front. Swindon have a poor record at Brandon in recent seasons but won 56-39 when the sides last met on 9 April. Swindon rider Travis McGowan admits that the size of that victory at the Abbey Stadium a fortnight ago came as a bit of a surprise. He told BBC Wiltshire: "That particular meeting, everything fell in our laps, no-one was expecting that score line. "We're more than capable of winning there, but it's not going to be easy."
