Kylmakorpi was injured in a heat-14 crash at Peterborough last week

Lakeside Hammers rider Joonas Kylmakorpi is set to be out for up to three weeks with an elbow injury.

The 29-year-old Finn was hurt in a crash at Peterborough last week and has suffered a 'complicated fracture' which he has now had pinned.

In addition, Kylmakorpi will undergo treatment in an oxygen tent to help speed his recovery.

The Hammers will use rider replacement for their Good Friday double-header against at Ipswich Witches.
