Harris says Thursday's win was a team effort

Coventry Bees rider Chris Harris described Thursday's opening Elite League victory against Ipswich as a real team effort.

Harris along with Edward Kennet top scored with nine to guide the Bees to a 46-44 narrow win at Foxhall.

"All one to seven of us put in a lot of effort and we all scored vital points," Harris told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire.

Harris won the deciding heat to give the Bees the all important victory.

"There was a good fight towards the end and I managed to hold on for the win", Harris added.

The Bees are back in action on Friday evening, when they face Belle Vue at Brandon in the Elite League aiming for two successive wins.
