Ryan Fisher won 3 races in his first competitive meeting for Swindon
Swindon have one foot in the semi-finals of the Knockout Cup after a 57-36 win over Wolverhampton at the Abbey Stadium.
Leigh Adams and Troy Batchelor top-scored with paid 14 points from 5 rides in the quarter-final first leg.
Ryan Fisher told BBC Radio Swindon he was delighted with his paid 11 points and man-of-the-match award.
"It can't get much better than getting a trophy for winning one of your first meetings at a new club," he said.
Swindon opened up a 10-point lead over the Wolves after just three races, and were never in danger of being caught.
Fisher is hopeful the Robins can keep their good form going throughout the season.
"We definitely are a strong team, a lot of us can put points on our average so I think we're definitely going to be a strong team at the end of the season," he said.
The second leg of the quarter-final will take place at Monmore Green on Monday, 6 April.
