Leigh Adams was the only Swindon rider to win a race at Wimbourne Road |
Swindon lost their opening Elite League meeting of the season 48-42 at Poole. The Robins still pick up a point under the new scoring system, as they were beaten by fewer than seven. Swindon boss Alun Rossiter told BBC Radio Swindon: "They're very good on their home track and every time we come here we lose it on the starts. "But considering they had the majority of race wins we came away with a point and they've come away with two, so I'm happy," he added. Swindon captain Leigh Adams top scored for the visitors with 12 points from his five rides. Poole's Daniel Davidsson and Chris Holder reached the same mark for the Pirates. The Robins have never won a competitive meeting at Wimbourne Road since returning to the Elite League in 2004.
