Coventry Bees have secured the services of captain Chris Harris and Ben Barker for the upcoming 2009 season.

Harris will spend his sixth year at Brandon while Barker has joined the Bees after impressing as the number eight stand-by rider.

"It is good to have negotiations with Chris completed and Ben is a young British rider," promoter Colin Pratt told the club website.

Rory Schlein and Olly Allen are the other confirmed riders for the Bees.
