Coventry Blaze head coach Paul Thompson was left unimpressed by his side's 3-0 home win over Cardiff. The win keeps Thompson's side second in the Elite League, five points behind the leaders Sheffield Steelers, who have played a game more. But Thompson told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "We are not a championship-winning team and we are not good enough in certain areas. "The balance of the team needs to change and I will make a change." Jon Coleman, Carlyle Lewis and Ben O'Connor all found the net against the Devils. The Blaze travel to Nottingham on Saturday before taking on the Steelers at the Skydome Arena the following day. Meanwhile, assistant captain Danny Stewart is set to have a scan on his knee injury on Monday.
