Mildenhall have snapped up former Elite League rider Travis McGowan in time for their final meeting of the season. The 27-year-old, who has previously ridden for King's Lynn, Oxford, Reading and Swindon, is a former Australian Under-21 champion. He will make his debut in Sunday's home match against Stoke Potters when Mildenhall will be aiming for their first point of the season. The Fen Tigers have lost all of their Premier League matches this year. The new Mildenhall promotion team of Keith and Jonathan Chapman have said they are desperate to end a disappointing season on a high. They told the club's website: "We are determined to win our final meeting of the season and are doing everything in our power to make it happen. "The club needs it and the fans want it, there is no way we can sit back and see this great little club finish the season without a single point to its name."
