Coventry rider Chris Harris will guest for Ipswich against Poole

Ipswich Witches will host a double-headed meeting at Foxhall Stadium on Thursday with a match against Poole followed by one against Coventry.

Two good wins are needed for the Witches to go above Swindon into third place in the Elite League.

But they will be hampered by the absence of Jarek Hampel who is committed to racing in Poland.

The Witches are also likely to be without Tobi Kroner whose broken fingers are still troubling him.

The first match starts at 1900 BST.

Poole have already sealed top place and will meet the side that finishes fourth at Wimborne Road on 29 September.

The Witches will use Chris Harris as guest against Poole and Davey Watt against Coventry.
